The Reasoning of a Child...Oh To Be Like Them

My son was slow in getting up this morning and then proceeded to take a 30 minute shower, knowing it then takes him 15 minutes to pick out what to wear and then another 10 to gel up his hair and find the hairbrush, plus homework to correct from last night's checking.

So, I prodded him along and ran off the checklist of all he had to do, because of course, inevitably, if you didn't ask them then how were they to know...

So, shower-check, clothes-check, homework-check, brush teeth-NO

BUT, he said, he had kept a piece of gum in his mouth all night long and was proceeding to still chew it as we spoke, thus no need to brush...

Sorta reminds me of those commercials of "but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night"...
